Happy New Year!

Sitting here reflecting on 2022 with the glow of my tree for 1 more day. 2022 was beautiful. I am truly blessed to be able to walk into my job, greeted by so many smiles, followed by sharing the joy of movement, song, laughter, exploration, discovery, and dance. And the wonderful people Ie met is truly beautiful.

Through the eyes of a child, everything is so magical and amazing. Being able to be a part of and witness these magical moments is what makes my heart illuminate. It also helps to remind me how special, magical, and different life is for each of us.

Discovery and exploration start before life and never truly end and are different for each of us, even within the same moments.

From the babies who are starting to recognize sound and movement to the teens who are facing challenges, realizing potential, and noticing accomplishment to the adults to are taking time for themselves to enjoy the beauty of movement....we are all going through these experiences, while different, together.

I saw a quote yesterday and it has stuck with me: "Your journey is not the same as mine, and my jounrey is not yours, but if we meet on a certain path, may we encourage each other".

The DK Dance path is a path of supportive exploration, experience, and discovery. On this path, while supporting and encouraging one another, everyone's journey within moments will be different. Achievement will happen at different times and ultimately mean different things. And for us, that is what it is all about! Individual experience and growth, together.

I am so proud of what DK Dance is, what it offers and the community is has built, and how it continues to grow....and we have dance, music, movement and each other to thank for that.

Thank you all for helping to create this space, for sharing your beautiful, amazing children with us and for supporting us. I love this community!!!

AND I get to share this jounrey and experience with the most AMAZING STAFF!
