Dance With Me, Baby
Classes for 9 months thru 24 months!
Inspired by the IntelliDance and Discover Dance curriculums and aimed at children aged as young as 9 months to 2 yr olds.
Children start dancing the day they are born! We guide them in expression and discovery as we explore through movement and music.
Our Dance with Me, Baby classes are child-caregiver classes with emphasis on moving, developing and bonding together.
For Babies as young as 9 months to the 2 year old tots!

Dance classes for caregivers and babies are a multifaceted experience that offers numerous benefits, fostering an engaging and nurturing environment for both participants. These classes are a conduit for enhanced bonding, as caregivers and babies connect through the joy of movement and music, reinforcing their emotional connection. They serve as a platform for physical development, with babies honing their motor skills, balance, and coordination, while caregivers benefit from a gentle yet effective workout. Socially, the classes offer a vibrant community, encouraging interaction and diminishing feelings of isolation. Cognitive growth is stimulated as babies are exposed to the patterns and rhythms of music, enhancing their memory and recognition skills. The emotional well-being of both caregivers and babies is uplifted through the inherent joy and stress-relieving nature of dance. Sensory stimulation is abundant for babies, with the blend of music, movement, and social interaction enriching their sensory development. The routine and structure provided by regular classes create a consistent and anticipated part of their weekly schedule.
Tots
Classes for 22-36 months old Inspired by the IntelliDance and Discover Dance curriculums.
DK Tots is an energetic and playful environment where they can explore and develop their social, cognitive, and physical skills. In these classes, children are introduced to the fundamentals of dance through a combination of structured activities and free expression, all set to a soundtrack of kid-friendly music that captures their attention and stimulates their imagination.
Throughout the class, we use a variety of props like scarves, ribbons, and small instruments to add a sensory element to the dance experience. These props help children connect the physical movements with the music and often spark creativity as they invent their own ways to dance and play.
The development of the individual child is important, so depending on the child's "readiness", a parent can come in the room with the dancer, or they can encourage them to participate on their own. As the Tots become more confident, comfortable and independent, we work on transitioning the adult out of the classroom for continued independent development.

Tots

Lil' Movers
Classes for 2.5 - 6 years old Music, movement, visuals, and props will enhance your dancer’s love of the art of dance. The class atmosphere is vibrant and inclusive, allowing children to participate at their own pace and developmental level. It's a wonderful opportunity for young ones to socialize, learn to follow instructions in a group setting, and build confidence as they take their first steps in the world of dance.
This unique conceptual approach to dance education will provide a strong foundation for technical and cognitive growth as they learn the basic principles to movement and music.
These dancers have the option of participating in: Movers Class which includes Tap and Ballet,
DK Lil Hip-Hop, and Lil Acro-Dance classes

Lil' Movers
Classes for 2.5 - 6 years old Music, movement, visuals, and props will enhance your dancer’s love of the art form.
This unique conceptual approach to dance education will provide a strong foundation for technical and cognitive growth.
These dancers have the option of participating in: Movers Class which includes Tap and Ballet, DK Lil Hip-Hop, and Acro-Dance classes
Mini Movers
Classes for school-age 6-9 years old
(Grade-school, Grades 1&2)
We offer many dance classes for those who are looking for a fun thing to do, at any age!
These programs build confidence, skill and knowledge in a positive experience.
An introduction to dance for grade school kids offers a diverse and exciting exploration of various dance styles, catering to children's wide-ranging interests and abilities. In these classes, students typically aged 6 to 9 years, get the chance to experience different genres of dance, such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and tap, providing a well-rounded foundation in dance.
Each session is designed to introduce the basic techniques and movements of a specific dance style, allowing children to discover their preferences and talents.
The classes not only enhance physical skills like coordination, flexibility, and strength but also foster creativity, musicality, and expressiveness.
The environment in these classes is supportive and encouraging, with an emphasis on enjoyment and personal expression.
These dancers have the option of participating in: Mini Combo (which includes Tap, Jazz and Ballet), Hip-Hop, Musical Theater and/or Acro-Dance classes.
Mini Movers
Classes for school-age 6-9 years old

Junior Movers
Classes for 8-10 years old (grades 3-5)
These are great classes for those who are continuing classes or trying classes for the first time.
Our dancers participate in 45 minute structured classes and include technical information, physical demand, and terminology education….and of course, FUN!
Dancers are at a beginner to intermediate level and can choose from Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theater, Hip-Hop and Acro-Dance.
Junior Movers
Classes for 9-12 years old.
These are great classes for those who are continuing classes or trying classes for the first time.
Our dancers participate in 45 minute structured classes and include technical information, physical demand, and terminology education….and of course, FUN!
Dancers are at a beginner to intermediate level and can choose from Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theater, Hip-Hop and Acro-Dance.
Pre-Teen & Teen Dancers
Pre-Teen 10-12 (grades 6-8), Teen 13&up (grades 9-12)
This is great for dancers who are continuing to dance or who are trying class for the first time!
Our dancers participate in 45 minute structured classes and include technical information, physical demand, and terminology education….and of course, FUN!
Dancers are at a beginner to intermediate level and can choose from Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theater, Hip-Hop and Acro-Dance.
Teen Dancers
Classes for 13 & up.
This is great for dancers who are continuing to dance or who are trying class for the first time!
Our dancers participate in 45 minute structured classes and include technical information, physical demand, and terminology education….and of course, FUN!
